Application

This unit of competency defines the skills and knowledge required to identify risks and safely work on and move around vessels – for sales, service or repair – on and out of the water and applies to recreational vessels in both land and water environments and in workplaces in which vessels are built, repaired, stored, sold and transported.

This unit could be assessed in conjunction with unit MEM13002 Undertake work health and safety activities in the workplace and unit MEM13003 Work safely with industrial chemicals and materials.

No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
